Amazon Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) | Simply explained

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS)

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is a premium support service available to select vendors by invitation only. Originally known as Strategic Vendor Services (SVS), AVS was established in the EU in 2013 with the aim of helping vendors enhance the customer experience and expand their business through key retail strategies. These strategies include selection, availability, traffic, and conversion.

Participation in AVS requires a fee, and vendors can access priority support for various catalog and non-catalog issues. Catalog issues may involve updates to titles, descriptions, and pricing, while non-catalog support covers promotional activities and content creation.

Additionally, AVS offers the Pan EU agreement, facilitating expansion into other Amazon EU stores, thus providing opportunities for sales growth and direct brand control. Benefits of the agreement include simplified account management and order processing handled by dedicated account managers.
