Climate Pledge Friendly Program

The Climate Pledge Friendly program is designed to highlight products that support the global Climate Pledge initiative. This program requires products to meet specific environmental certification criteria to earn the Climate Pledge Friendly badge.

For textiles, accepted certifications include the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), and Oeko-Tex Standard 100, among others. Certified products must contain at least 50% verified materials, and submissions must include a valid scope certificate.

The Leather Working Group requires products to be at least 50% certified leather by weight, with specific considerations for footwear and watches.

Plant-Based Fiber Blended certifications necessitate at least 50% of eligible materials and adherence to social responsibility and chemicals management standards.

Manufacturers must provide necessary documentation through Vendor Central to enroll products, and recertifications may be required annually to maintain program eligibility.
