
No Show Chargeback
The No Show Chargeback is a penalty applied when a carrier departs from an Amazon fulfillment center without unloading goods. This occurs if the carrier does not adhere to the scheduled time or fails to present an Amazon delivery receipt when requested. To avoid this chargeback, carriers should check in 30 minutes prior to their appointment. If a delay is anticipated, a rescheduling through the Relay Operations Center should be done at least 24 hours or two hours in advance for traffic issues. Vendors bear responsibility for chargebacks due to their contractual relationship with carriers. Proper adherence to Amazon’s procedures and guidelines outlined in the Vendor Manual is recommended to prevent such occurrences.
