Amazon Remittance Payments | Simply explained

Remittance Payments

Remittance payments refer to the payments made by Amazon to its vendors, which can be tracked and managed through the Vendor Central platform. Vendors can view a summary and check the status of their payments, including successful or failed transactions.

  • Payment Tracking: Vendors can search for specific payments and filter by payment status. Detailed information is accessible by clicking on individual payment numbers.

  • Invoice Details: Invoice number suffixes indicate the type of agreement (e.g., (SC) for shortage claim or (PC) for price claim). Vendors have the option to download or print these details.

  • Notification Updates: Amazon sends email notifications regarding pending payments. Vendors are advised to ensure their contact information is up to date for receiving these notifications.

If a vendor cannot access the Remittance payments page, they need to request permission from their company’s account administrator. For comprehensive financial insights, vendors can also access the Financial dashboard, which includes a list of actionable items to unblock withheld payments.
