Translate & Duplicate

AMALYTIX offers a convenient feature that lets you transfer A+ Content to other marketplaces with just a few clicks. The video explains the process:

How It Works

  1. Select one or more A+ documents in the table (Standard A+ Content only)
  2. Click “Actions” and then “Duplicate selected documents”
  3. Choose the target marketplace and desired language
  4. Click “Start”

AMALYTIX automatically translates the text using DeepL and attempts to upload the document to the target marketplace. The new document appears as a draft first, so you can review it before publishing.

What Happens with ASINs During A+ Translation?

When an A+ Content document is translated to another language/marketplace via AMALYTIX, the system automatically attempts to assign the ASINs from the original document to the new translated document.

This means: If the original A+ document is linked to 5 products (ASINs) on Amazon.de, for example, these ASINs will also be assigned to the new translated document on the target marketplace (e.g., Amazon.fr).

Is This Always Done?

No, not always. The ASIN assignment only takes place when:

  • The translation was successfully created on Amazon (as a draft)
  • The original document has ASINs with the status “published” (Content Published)

If the original document has no actively published ASINs, this step is skipped.

What Can Go Wrong?

ASINs Don’t Exist in the Target Marketplace

The most common problem: The ASINs from the source marketplace don’t exist in the target marketplace’s catalog. In this case, you receive an error message in the User Log stating “ASIN relations not created (The following ASINs do not exist in the catalog)”.

The translated A+ document still remains as a draft on Amazon — only the ASIN association is missing. The customer can then manually assign the ASINs in Seller Central or Vendor Central.

Important to Know

  • The translated document is always created as a draft on Amazon, regardless of whether the ASIN assignment succeeds or not.
  • If the ASIN assignment fails, the customer must manually assign the ASINs via Seller Central / Vendor Central.
  • After successful assignment, AMALYTIX reads back the current ASIN data from Amazon, so the status is displayed correctly in AMALYTIX.

The translation feature is only available for Standard A+ Content, not for Premium Content or Brand Stories.
