Amazon Keyword Research
The Keyword Research Tool helps you find relevant search terms for your products. Use the discovered keywords to optimize your listings and improve your visibility on Amazon.
Starting a New Search
Click Start new search to begin your keyword research.
In the dialog that opens:
- Select your desired marketplace
- Choose whether to search by Keywords or ASINs
- Enter your seed terms or ASINs (maximum 10 entries)
The more seed terms you provide, the more comprehensive the results will be.

Understanding the Results Table
Below the table, you can see the total number of keywords found.
The table displays the following information:
| Column | Description |

| Keyword | The discovered search term |
| SV (Search Volume) | Estimated monthly search volume on Amazon |
| SV Change | Change in search volume compared to previous month |
| SF Rank | Search Frequency Rank shows the relative popularity of a keyword |
| ABP | AMALYTIX Buying Power - indicates revenue potential |
| Word Count | Number of words in the keyword |
| Char Count | Character length of the keyword |
| Contains Keyword | Shows whether the keyword contains one of your search terms |
| Contains Number | Shows whether the keyword contains a number |
Viewing Search Volume Trends
Click the small icon next to the search volume to visualize the historical development of search volume and search frequency. This helps you identify seasonal trends and adjust your strategy accordingly.

ABP - AMALYTIX Buying Power
The ABP (AMALYTIX Buying Power) index indicates how many sales were generated via a specific keyword on Amazon. A higher value indicates greater revenue potential. Use this metric to identify keywords with high purchase intent.
Excluding Keywords
In the Options column, you can hide individual keywords. Two options are available:
- Contains: Hides all keywords containing the term
- Exact: Hides only the exact keyword
Excluded keywords are displayed above the table. There you can:
- Add additional terms to exclude
- Edit or remove already excluded keywords
Click Excluded Keywords to manage all hidden terms.

Using Filters
Filter the search results above the table by various criteria:
- Keyword: Search for specific terms
- Search Volume: Set minimum and maximum values
- Search Volume Change: Filter by change
- Search Frequency Rank: Filter by popularity
- ABP: Filter by revenue potential
- Word Count: Find keywords with specific word counts
- Character Count: Find keywords with specific lengths

Saving Filters
To save your filter settings for future searches:
- Click Filter at the top right
- Enter a name for the filter
- Click Save
You will find the saved filter template next to the Filter button.
Exporting and Reusing Data
Excel Download
Click the download button at the bottom right below the table to download all keywords as an Excel file.
Exporting a Selection
To export only specific keywords:
- Check the checkbox next to the desired keywords
- Click Actions
- Select Download
Saving Keywords to a List
Using Actions, you can also save selected keywords to a list. You can then upload this list on your Content page under Add / edit keywords and use it to optimize your listings.
